Took My Car In To Dealer Cause I Heard A Clunking Sound When I Turn My Car Left/right Especially When I Am Parking I Get A Phone Call That The Grease In The Shaft Is Dried Up And Damaged It I Was Like Damn My Car Only Has 2900 Miles They Said They Had To Special Order It And Its Going To Take 3 Days For It To Arrive I Was Like Cool.i Get The Car Back Cause They Said It Was Driveable No More Noise But Damn The Steering Wheel Is Crooked Like If The Alignment Is Off By Alot Im Preety Pissed Off Right Dont Even Feel Like Driving My Car.this Is My First Dealer Experiance And Not A Good One.

Now I have a question for you... why do you capitalize the first letter in every word you have in that paragraph?? lol, feel like I have to read your post like i'm in special ed. or something just messin with you man... hope it all works out.

 

lol i just noticed that to must be my keyboard cause i had caps lock on or something wow the funny thing i hardly drive my car had it since 08/06/05 and only 2900 miles on it well at least i still have my 78 nova to get me around dont know why but dont feel safe driving the cobalt right now especially the way i drive lol.

They didn't replace the part with the steering wheel in the same position.

If it is way off (more than a 1/4 turn) make sure they remove the shaft to fix it.

Don't let them throw it on a alignment bed and fix it that way. If they do that they will simple adjust the tie rods to make up for the offset. That wil leave you with little adjustability down the road.
