Demolished a raccoon and radiator needs replaced

Hi fellas, well last sunday morning 5 am a Raccoon jumped right out in front of me @ 40 Mph. I never had a chance to brake or anything. So I get out and look at front end and I didn't see anything. I thought air dam would be busted or cracked but nothing. So I go to work , come home park it thinking nothing of it. Well when I left later saw the small puddle of dexcool on the floor. Bottom of radiator was smashed in. So long story short, State Farm is going to replace the radiator for me and the dealer I bought the car from will be doing the work. How long can I expect this job to take them? I was figuring prob about 5-6 hours cause it seems the supercharger prob would have to come out. Any ideas gents on how long it should take and I am only responsible for 50.00 comp deductible but I imagine the new rad and labor would prob be in the 400-500 range for the whole job.

Lot more damage than first thought

Well Chevy garage called me a bit ago , radiator and condenser and supercharger cooler are all shot from the hit. So it's gonna be considerably more money out of State Farm to fix but still covered under comprehensive so I only have 50.00 deductible to deal with. But I imagine it 1000-1500 in damage easily. Better than hitting a dear though so I am fortunate.

Well guys final tally is 1900.00 Radiator , Condenser and Supercharger Cooler are all trashed, plus some front end pieces inside need to be replaced the chevy garage said. I only have to pay 50 of it but won't have the car back for 4-5 days. This sucks I absolutely love my cobalt but I am happy it's not coming out of my pocket to fix it since I don't have 2000 in pocket change laying around. LOL

once i was jacking up my car and the jack slipped taking out the radiator. cost a little over 300 bucks for a new one but didnt take me 2 hours . It was pretty simple to do but it took 3 days to get it shipped.

I had the same thing happen and bought the radiator for 150 and replaced it in about 2 hours. At least you only have to pay 50 though
