When I go in to get the car, I will find out everything. I dont want to write something down because I am not 100% sure on what is going on. However, I do know that more than 25 hours of work was put into the car, I was also told that everything that could be changed in the car was changed. Essentially, the car when I get it will be brand new again. But until I go and get the work order, I can't be 100% certain as to what was actually changed and the reasons behind it. I was also told that GM did put more than 1000 KM on m car trying to re-create the problem, but as far as I know, they could not re-simulate what I had described. Anyways, thanks for everyones help, I will definitely have an answer by the end of the week! Thanks!!!!

What a great read, lol. I'm with army Greywolf though. Everything he has said makes sense after thinking hard about it, lol. Good luck man and hopefully it's all settled by now

UPDATE
I got the car back, i swear to god it drives better than new. GM really went all out on it. The message "FUEL RAN BRAKE" was still caused by an "unknown" anomaly in the system, however, the rapid increase of speed most likely occurred due to a fault cruise control switch. When GM received the car, none of the buttons were working. Here is the long ass work order to show what has been changed. *Because of how GM treated me during this situation, based on customer service alone, I would recommend a GM vehicle to anyone* If i skip any cases, it is because it is not important and something completed different from the situation, ie.: warranty work on interior pieces.
(case 1-2 is oil and tire change)
Case 3:
15942950 - switch - warranty
"Happen twice that message in cluster "Fuel Ran Brake" appear..// also when happen lost braking power and engine started to rev very high... customer had to put trans. in neutral and stop the engine..// *** - Tech cause: Switch poor contact *** -Tech comments: Scan system no codes will need to RT to verify complaint RT car unable to verify complaint call TAC Case #11311478 need to retry with cruise and brake operation all ok wait for call back from TAC
No help from TAC replace switch for cruise/DIC and RT all ok Customer will need to retry (232) get cluster part # to order - warranty
Case 6:
Added operation: Check after market air induction. *** Tech Cause: Check after market air induction ***
Case 7:
Added operation: check if injector is blue or gray. or other color. *** Tech cause: Check injectors *** - Tech Comments: check injector GREY color.
Check ECM software calibration ok.. - Warranty
Case 8:
Added Operation: set up VDR onto vehicle. *** - Tech Cause: set up VDR onto vehicle *** - Tech comments: Set up VDR onto vehicle road test
Case 9:
Hand brake malfuctioned, not working properly
Case 10:
Added Operation: erratic display in cluster. *** - Tech Cause: DIC erratic short at times. *** - Tech Comments: replace cluster
Case 11:
Added operation: remote starter inop and alarm sounds at night. Notice by teck - Tech cause: hood switch shorted - tech Comments: scan test code B3006.. check and replace hood latch w/switch and adjust latch for hood to close properly
case 12:
Added operation: flasher arm does not return when turning, noticed by teck on road test *** - Tech Cause: return lever in flasher switch not working *** - Tech comments: re & re column covers, replace flasher switch
Case 13:
15319477 - Fuse
15212798 - Resistor
Added operation: temp light comes on in traffic noticed on road test by teck *** - Tech Cause: open circuit in cooling fan resistor *** - Tech Comments: check fuses, fan #2 burnt, Do output test, fan #2 ok, #1 not working, check wiring, resistor no good. Replace cooling fan resistor.
This was a long 6 week process. During the road tests, the GM Tech could not make what I described re-occur. Again, there is a possibility that it was due to a faulty switch that caused the DIC to act up, seeing as the switch was not working when I brought it to GM. On top of that, my handbrake was not functioning properly. Since I brought the car to GM, more problems have occurred, such as the starter not working, the alarm going off at night, and the temperature light coming up. Thankfully, this all happened whilst the car was at GM.
Thanks for all your patience and support! I got my 5 back, and 6 weeks without it made me really appreciate how nice my car is, I will never bad mouth her again.
