Intake is on. Runs fine. Fuel trims around 7 with filter upside down. Ill experiment for a few days and positions and maybe ill tune for it depending.

okay, that sounds about average. alot of people report 7 LTFT, for some reason im near 0 with out the tune. Cant explain that, I must be lucky. The 7 LTFT is okay, and I think thats usually what GMS1 people see, but the tuners will tell you that your STFTs bounce all over the place and thats not okay. personally I havent see one cobalt suffer any injuries from bouncing STFTs, they never exceed the limits. You can log your intake and see if what you see makes you uncomfortable and maybe tune the intake in. The real benefit to leaving it untuned is that in case you do have a problem, you can switch the stock intake back to go to the dealer without having to reflash the GMS1 as an extra step lol.

Now with what youve experienced im sure 7 LTFT isnt really that scary

Hey Wired ,

id you ever get the top map sensor on the intake manifold figured out as to why it didn't line up 100% ? I have two new 3 bars sensors and new black orings coming from Tom@ CED and I was wondering what the fix was and how you made out. As it turns out my crappy -8-10 ish ltft was due to the m dealr installing my stage kit with the green orings on the sensors. And they were bth leaking pretty good. But the bottom was worse hen the top one. So I siliconed them in temporaily untill the new sensrs and orings come in. I was curiou about why your sensor didnt line up ? Tom @ CED told me both top and bottom sensor are exactly the same ?

I didn't install them as they turnes out not to be a problem. The sensors that are on thw car now had the metal ring ripped out to fit.
