Need help swapping my thermostat
Piece of cake job.
All you need is a 1/4" ratchet, 16" extension and a 10mm swivel socket.
Perform this repair when the engine is cold.
Remove the engine cover.
Reach your left hand behind the engine and to the right of the exhaust manifold.
Using your right hand, insert the ratchet/extension/swivel inbetween all the crap between the fuse box and valve cover.
Use your left hand to get the socket on to the bolts.
Remove the bolts.
using your right hand, pull the radiator hose and T-stat housing backwards.
Use a screwdriver to pry out the old t-stat.
Install is reverse of removal.
Don't worry about unhooking the radiator hose or anything. It'll bend out of the way. This can be done in ten minutes.
