I'm wondering if my car is tryin to boost more than should. For instance when I take off from 1st 2nd it seems to jump to to high between shifts. I'm shifting at 25k.

Good chance that's what it is, but given the lack of info going straight to clogged cat is difficult since we don't know what pulley/tune and what his WOT boost is

 

Very, true. I think mine is clogged or it is my fuel filter.

 

I just installed zzp 3" full exhaust with dp and high flow cat a month a ago. 2.9 pulley with 60# inj and h/e.

ALSO, I know I'm needing engine mount and crank relearn.

 

What kinda mods do you ahve to shift at 25, 000 RPM???

My RPM gauge only goes to 8, 000 RPM With a rev limiter at 7, 000 RPM.

Why is there any boost if your doing a 1-2 shift at 2.5k?
Wot short shift?
I dont know too much about lsj and how bypass and the tune works and such but if I am putting along granny shifting at 2.5k there's no boost.
Hell if your shifting it that low you could be causing it to bog down

 

I thought shifting at 3k was high but maybe I should try it. It just seems like my needle jumps into boost to soon like around 3-5psi

 

3- 5 being high? Dude Stock is 12.5 PSI boost....

 

Agreed 3-5 is not high. Does the lsj control boost off throttle/load?

 

I'm boosting over that its just seem its boosting to soon. I think the my buddy adjusted my valve on the sc and its allowing it to boost when it shouldn't

No just when I take off threw the gears it seems the needle reaches boost to easily like around5-7 psi. Its almost impossible to stay out of boost just daily driving it. My friend says it could be the bv on the sc was somehow adjusted and throwing my boost levels off.

 

That sounds about normal

There is a tune option that ZZP offers that I have where it reduces boost by 50% in 1st gear.

 

Just drive the damn thing. Yew haz tinee pew lee noa. It makes boost easy. So?
