Had the dealer scan it after the car DTC had sent message "Check Gas Cap" after my CEL came on. I tightened it at the dealer we cleared it, I drove home... 1 day later started it up and about 45-50 seconds into idle light comes back on. I scan it myself same thing P0496 "EVAP High Flow Purge Fault" any suggestions on a quick fix besides deleting the code... cant take it to the dealer til monday...

They should of replaced it at the dealer when you were there ,but I guess you finding it loose is causing you a trip back for a free gas cap.

Car went into the dealership 2 weeks ago they changed the "Purge Solonoid" car ran fine for a day and started acting up harshly the following day, light back on same code... car would start up rev to 2,000 drop to 400 multiple times and just die. It went back in today and they re-replaced the solonoid or so they claim and now the car runs fine
