Paint Peeling
I noticed the black paint is peeling off the outside part of the passenger strut tower under the hood. I thought I seen a couple other pics in these forums with the same problem. I was thinking about repainting it using high-temp grade paint.....figured maybe that's why it peeled in the first place? Anybody repainted theirs with success?

It is just a sign of poorly adhered paint. If you are still in warranty I'd say let the dealership cover it under warranty.
It is NOT peeling from engine temps. Unless your engine was on fire (Which you'd have alot more problems than paint), it doesn't get hot enough to cause paint damage. The sunlight puts more heat into the paint than the engine temps ever will.
