hey. a cheap do it yourself way to do this would to buy some 400 grit sand paperand sand down the hub cap where you want to paint it. should looked scuffed and dulled. then your going to need some paint.....and also buy a can of clear......you give the hub cap as many coats of paint as your want. id do 3-5 and in betweeen each coat should be dry. after your done with that spray about 2 coats of the clear. and that should work.... should be less than $10

Instead of sand paper i would use a red 3m scuff pad. Easier to use in tight spots.

PAINT EM CAMO! lol No1 has camo rims. My buddy dropped off a set of 18" SS/SC rims that are a little fucked up but were gonna put some drag tires on and just give them to whoever wants to take their car to the track in our car club, and we want to paint them since the chrome is peeling so im debating camo or black or something crazy. I mean its just drag wheels lol

question man, I have real metal diamond plate floor mate. I want to paint them gloss black. I bought primer and I have adhesion promoter and gloss black paint. Is there anything special I need to do to make sure it doesnt chip that much. I heard of a type of primer called "Etching Primer" that is supposed to work amazing for preventing chips
