I have an 09 SS and all of a sudden today the radio decides not to turn off when I open the door with the car off. The dome light also does not turn on with the door open. I tried disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes and that did not seem to help. I have resorted to pulling the fuse so it doesn't kill my battery.

Any suggestions?

 

Theres a button kind of deal that gets pushed in when the door closes id check that area out make sure the button is moving freely

 

Yeah just a door pin switch they are like 7.00 at advance.

Real simple. take out switch right below door check in front jam. turn key on then off. radio should be on. when you touch that wire to chassis ground ....meaning just a paperclip between the 2 wires on switch...if radio turns off..dome lights work you need a switch. if it doesn't work...check wires from switch to body control module. if they are ok you need a bcm. chances are they will turn off = bad switch. could be bad groumd but that would mean your windows and mirrors and locks wont work either
