Rust warranty?

I own a 2007 LS, and the bottom of the doors are starting to bubble and rust already.
Is this covered under the paint/rust warranty for 6 years?

I would hope so, I would say it falls into the paint/rust category. Worst you can do is call the dealer and they say no.

Well problem is the dealers down here are pathetic and won't fix anything...i've barked up customer service's tree a thousand times about it.
I normally take it to the other side of the state to a dealer I used to work for and they will help me out...
So just wondering if this qualifies as a warranty repair and if it is worth the drive.

That's the sad part... I am OCD about being clean, yet it doesn't help under the door for this car.

6yr/100,000 Miles.
It states it needs to be rusted through though, so I doubt they will cover bubbling.

My 07 is bubbling and peeling at the door bottom. Dealer says they won't cover it unless it rusts through

Wash your car better in the winter time. Most definitely a Salt issue, since Michigan seems to think salt on the road should be like icing on a cake.

Dealer paint warrenty is for perforation only,

So if u leave it long enough for it to rust a hole
Thru your door then they will cover it, surface rust they won't cover, there has to be a hole in the sheet metal for them to do anything

Open that bitch up with a Dremel. Give it a month to rust up some more... take it in for warranty.

Rust warranty is only if it rusts completly through and there is a hole.

Might grab a quote from a body shop down here to catch it before any rust starts.

Hard to get a good wash on the car weekly when living at an apartment, really sucks!

Run it through an automatic touchless car wash... make sure it has an underbody washer.
