Turbo Timer pointless?
No no no...A turbo timer is pretty much useless on any car regardless of aspiration, I was just responding to the fact that someone said "You can't" install a turbo timer in a NA or supercharged car...people can do anything they want it just won't make a difference.
i appreciate the handful of u who provided useful information to my question, instead of acting like a bunch of kids and ripping on me for asking a question. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a forum suppose to be there for people to come and ask questions about things they are unsure of? I think those of you who got all pissy and started giving me **** for asking my question should be banned, instead of me being banned for asking a stupid question. Just my $.02...

the site and troll the new members... but you need to learn...
new cars that come from the factory dont even need a turbo timer becuase they are both water and oil cooled. there was a whole thing on the wrx boards about it.. the coolant sits in the hot turbo and it slowly evaporates which means more coolant that is cooler can come in... i still would put on one.. i plan on having an evo within the next week or so and if there isnt a tt on there i will be putting one on there right away its just good practice so your turbo doesnt have burnt oil all over it
ill look up the thread on nasioc . com in a little they explain it alot better lol.... but anyway its pointless on a supercharged or n/a car.. idling causes higher temps.. and your supercharged has self contained oil system anyway

i was bashing other members? last i recall i wasn't specifically picking on anyone, I don't do that. All I asked was for a little info on the timer, sorry the people I get to install my stuff don't know what they're talking about, and I'll admit I was a ******* for believing them when they said a tt was helpful for all cars. I just don't want to get **** when I come to you guys for help on my car, afterall if I knew everything about the car i wouldn't come to you guys in the first place.
