Ok so I have a SS/SC that i've only had for about two weeks. Today when I was driving to town, i went to get on the interstate and as I waited to turn onto the entrance ramp a friend stopped behind me. So being an idiot, i wanted to show off, i slammed it. Spun through first, hit second. By the time I hit second, my car shut completely off. So I pulled onto the side of the ramp and attempted to start it back up. First attempt, nothing. Second, it hestitated to start, still no start. Third attempt, same thing as second. So I didnt know what else to do so I decided to ask onStar for a diagnostic report on my car. They told me that it had something to do with the ignition switch or something like that. She began to ask me if I wanted road side assistance. I told her, well let me try to start it once more. I tried, and it cranked right up, no problems at all. She advised me to take it by my dealership so I did. After waiting at the dealership for about 30 minutes the man comes and tells me "Well Steven, it seems as if nothing is wrong with your vehicle. We ran all the codes and took it for a test drive, and nothing." I said, "ok good!" he advised me to bring it back in if anything else was to happen. I was rather relieved. He didn't say a word about my intake or anything. Well, everything is fine now......

Limp Mode? Whatd You Do Pop The Clutch At A Hi Rpm , How Long Have You Been Driving A Stick, Just Curious?>

 

Had something like that happen to me one time. Scared the crap outa me. Everything checked out fine and i haven't had a problem since then. Can't explain what happened but i'm not worried about it anymore.

 

Forgot to mention, I'm fairly new on driving a stick, maybe about 6 months? So yeah, I basically poped the clutch.
