are they on your bumper too? It might be pitting in the paint from getting sand hitting your car on the highway. My front end looks like swiss cheese now because of it

tad bit on the bumper but mostly the hood and you cant really feel it with your hands. When you look at it in person, it looks like its ontop of the paint.

Waxing won't remove anything from your car. The clay bar will remove surface contaminents but if it is etched into the paint, you would need a good wax cleaner (Stage 1 of Meguiars or Mothers wax products). If you are getting it detailed, they should be able to get it out.
As for what it is, I would think that it probably is sap that landed on the car at some time when it was under a tree during a rain storm. It's amazing what will come off of some trees when it rains. Then the sun bakes it into the paint...good fun. It should come out though.

Talked to the dealership and they said that they would make sure it comes out even if they need to repaint it since i just bought it so im not worried. Its also all over the back bumper too, deffinately not rock chips but i will be sure to post some more pics once its all freshly detailed and cleaned. So far very happy with it. Im new to 5 speeds, so far stalled it once but i think im doing pretty good
