Yes, I'm in Mt. Holly. Mainly online sales but I build Ford engines which is more local. I have a dedicated 1200 sq ft shop beside my house for all of my work. Keeps the overhead low that way.

The goal is to have the RSD to be removable and with no modifications to the car similar to all of our other designs. I haven't seen the Cobalt framework yet, but I'm sure we can devise a way to make it swap in and out with no problems. We try to use as many factory bolt holes as possible.

You can also catch a video of me here on Speed TV's Pass Time last month with my Mustang at zMax. It's not a cobalt though!

if the goal of the kit is to be able to swap it out back and forth then i may deff be up for this. you said 2 days, so the car will sleep over at your shop? lol.
your close, and i can give my car up for 2 days for a free RSD
i can wash the car and the inside before i bring it to you... PM me your info, and maybe we can make this happen?

Anyone know anywhere near by that installs Lambo doors? If so, about how much do they charge and how long does it usually take them to do it? I would do it myself but I am betting a shop can do it alot quicker than I can.

YES, I do know Lambo doors are gay and over used and a rice mod and blah blah blah but I really don't give a ****. This car is here to please me not the rest of you so please don't waste your valuable time telling me about how uncool they are. Besides, I am Jesus I can do whatever the hell I want (inside joke if you get it then your in the "in" crowd; if you didn't get it then you probably didn't miss much)

What about up in your area? The body shops around me are sub par and all touristy. It took a guy a month or more to get his lambos and system installed. I am hoping for more like a weekend or couple of days.

lambo doors are gay, rice, bullshit, overplayed, for guys with tiny weiners, and also casue the driver to lose his manhood.

im j/k i like them. if you get a specific cobalt bolt on kit you should od it yourself easily. if you buy a universal they have to fabricate a bunch of **** and it will take awhile and be expensive

You mean ONE should be able to do it ONES self. Probably not me lol. I would love to do it myself but I doubt I have or can reasonably purchase the tools I would need to install a set of these.

The only problem with bolt on is they are not as sturdy as I would like. I don't want to be driving to work during hurricane season and open my door and it fly off down the road. I dunno I could get that kit and then take it to my stepdad's shop and have him weld it on after I get it bolted down. That is a possibility.

dude. my buddy put a bol ton kit on his TC. its easy. you gotta learn how to do it yourself. He did it himself in the driveway.

Basic tools needed. Flathead screwdriver to pop your door panel off. Phillips to take screws out of your door handle. Socket wrench. umm... dont know what else but nothing crazy man. I say order it. attempt it, if you cannot do it, then take it to a shop. And why would one made for a cobalt be LESS sturdy then one that isnt? by bolt on it doesnt mean theres only 2 bolts holding it in. It extends under your front fender and everything and is cut to the write size and has the right bends in it for mounting.

If you feel like coming all the way up here I would have to say Metal Worx could do it in a few hours. Corey, the owner is a friend of mine and lambos are nothing compared to what his shop cranks out. He might be a little expensive but you are getting serious quality. I mean Corey built the first and only crewcab s10 with a corvette engine, 4l60e trans, dually rear end, body dropped 6 inches, on bags, laying DOOR SILLS. I will see about getting you their number but I will vouch for all their work. I mean come one they are about to take on a nissan 240 s13 truck conversion. Who does that?

I will probably stop by there Monday since I have to run by my work and they are only a mile from there, are they direct bolt in installation or custom weld in? Also I am not sure if they work weekends, normally they are at shows on weekends with all their rides.

Congrats on the baby. His/her first words will be horsepower or AFR. Something along those lines.
