I am actually gonna be passing thru the rock the 21st going to the beach to spend a couple days with my girl. I will be coming back on the 23rd sorry guys if i hadnt already planned this i would have gone to the rock.

Just ordered black halo projectors Sorry, just excited, been debating for awhile. Wanted to get eibach sportlines but I figured this would be cheaper because than I would need new struts I believe.

 

i never got aftermarket struts and i have sportline's. no problems here. but ill bet those projectors will look great bro!

Someone else who works inmy department is taking that time off so the 22nd is out for me. You are right about this place being whatever it was you said haha. As for the struts, I heard it was a good idea, maybe you have not needed them Red because your car probably, like I know lol, different ones being an SS and I am a lil' LS. I know its something you can do w/out for awhile but I heard it was best to get new ones, tell me other wise and I well be happy haha. And I know the lights are gonna look great, I just need the know how to get them installed.

Oh and the 22nd is the one year anniversary for the Balt, I got it that day a year ago. Does not feel like it either.

I have a great idea, maybe next time before getting so pissy about people from the piedmont not jumping on the meet think about how you actually planned a location OUTSIDE of the PIEDMONT.

Now personally I had mostly made up my mind that I was going to go (friend's looking at backing out on our proposed trip up to VIR the 6th/7th) I must say however that telling me I'm lame for not posting even further out from event time, just pisses me off. Hell it might even be why some people AREN'T planning on going. Then again they might just not know for 100% that they can go and will commit later.

Oh and by the way, the location doesnt bother me, just all the complaining about piedmont people not signing up to go to the piedmont meet that isnt even in the piedmont.

Now I think I'll go continue ripping my old cavalier apart so i can fixes it

Funny we've got the largest LSJ club in the whole Southeast based right here in Charlotte. 25 members and we're not even a year old yet...

If you triangle area peeps want a meetup the DSLSJA is down for it... name a place and time... we can pull 10-15 cars out of the woodwork without too much of an issue.

Thats great if you got an LSJ but there are quite a few w/out them around here and I agree w/ the lame part, even when I attempt a get together I never see a reply on the subject. Only time I see a meet is when someone else posts one up and then everyone seems to jump in on it, of course by then I have not seen it in time to make it. Oh well, does not really bother me anyway. If I get to meet members from here, cool, if not than thats that.

The reason I was so intent on people voicing whether they are coming or not, is because a meet on the scale I was hoping for, isn't something that can be thrown together 5 days ahead of time.. And by the lack of responses I was getting, I felt it was safe to assume that no one was going.. And I figured that a month out wasn't too far to make plans. If I had made the thread and said, hey in 2 weeks from now, lets all meet up, I really don't think it would have happend(Since I have tried that before).

The piedmont thing was mentioned just so people knew that this wasn't just a Raleigh meet since I am from Raleigh. I was even hoping people from outside NC would come. The location was set because someone had mentioned what I was hoping(SC peeps) coming, so Fayetteville seemed like the best idea.

All I really wanted was some form of response. If 3 people said they WILL come, and 4 said MAYBE, I would scratch the whole thing and just head out to one of the Charlotte meets. But instead, I got no response, so I was trying to force a post out of the people that wern't speaking up. Sorry if it seemed too aggressive, but I was seeking feedback, whether it be a YES, NO, or MAYBE. Because a MAYBE is an acceptable answer. If I got 25 MAYBES, then I would continue planning it since there is tons to plan.


Speaking of planning, if we do the BBQ idea, we need to figure out some food stuff, and hopefully RickyW got my PM and will tell us which park is the best spot. Otherwise I can lug my $20walmart grill down and go from there.

So if we get a few more MAYBES, then we can start figuring out the finer details now that the date and place have been set.
