You can typically hear knock.. unless you car is ungodly loud.

 

my cars is pretty not quiet....lol its pretty loud. especially with the CF hood not muffling anything and having vents in it.. lol

 

My BS of the weekend. Pulled my intake off and check the shaft play on the turbo to determine if that is the source of the random puffs of smoke... and its not it. I have very minimal shaft play.

I also put a breather in my oil cap to see if the increase crank case pressure is the culprit.. I drove this morning for the first time and I didnt notice any puffs.. So we will see when I leave work. Hope it was it!If not I literally have no idea.. I am out of ideas..

 

Well its going to be hard to notice... Only other way to see if its phantom is mix in some E with your gas and bumb the octane..
