Well rev to ~8000. People are always worried about balance shaft failure (im not) anything above 7500.

Good thing I convinced him to get the larger hotside on the turbo... Those RPM is where it will come in handy. Cams give out at around 6500 and his old turbo did probably just before that, so the larger hotside will still be breathing!

Compressor tool:

CF-300<BR />Valve Spring Compressor for OHC and DOHC | Item #CF-300. | Goodson Tools & Supplies for Engine Builders

Actually went down in price from when I did my build..

Edit: This may be the same

Amazon.com: T & E Tools Universal Over Head Cam Valve Spring Compressor: Automotive

Edit 2: Maybe this one too?

so you couldnt start from scratch and erite a tune without first having a ECU picked out to put it on? that is strange. I though you could write tunes all day long, just have to register the VIN or whatever when you wanna WRITE to it.

I can pull tunes all day long. I can scan cars all day long. Once you try to change anything in a tune that you dont have unlocked you wont be able to save.
