Pulled my TB,MAF and intake,cleaned them up and idle smoothed out ALOT.Still sketchy but way smoother.gonna check some other stuff too.

 

i put in a 20% e blend. so im on e17 right now. knock is gone, and the car loves it up high!

 

im sellin forza 4 40 bucks played it like 3 times never installed the second disk

also, my clutch doesnt like this cold weather

So I started putting everything back together.... It feels good to start getting this thing back together. Just about done, need to get a couple more studs for the exhaust, install the intake, and put the valve cover back on... Tomorrow will be the start up!!!

 

baller dude you work fast! how are u flushing the block of the oil/water mixture that was in it?

 

Standard oil for the first start up... Get to operating temp. Drain oil change filter. Still with standard oil drive for 100ish miles and at 50 put sea foam in oil. drain and change filter. Put synthetic in drive about half of normal and 100 miles from oil change put sea foam in and change it after the 100. Drain and should be good.

Ok Monday is time for round two on this bitch I took her for a 120 mile drive out to Casa Grand and picked up a little something for the cobalt.Hopefully she passes emissions and I can legally drive her down the road and have some fun hitting switches

 

God damnit!!! I wanted to save that for something good. Lol

 

Yup. My car should be faster too since my spool time should reduce, I fixed a large exhaust leak between the head and header... Cant wait to get her started tonight and fix the tune. I finally got my new WB senosr in since my old one took a ****...

Went to the shop today with my rents... He said he didn't get any of my calls or text messages at all... (Really?) Said he doesn't use the house phone anymore.... I tried to let him know that his house phone even says on the answering machine that it's his business' name on there and it says we'll get back to you shortly and he immediately snapped back with I'm giving him attitude, for the second time, and that my attitude isn't going to get me anywhere with anyone. (******* REALLY!? Even my parents said after leaving that he was being uncooperative and being an ass the entire time. When he first came out and was telling him about the transmission his initial question to me was 'well what did you do to it?' You want ******* attitude then drop your ******* attitude man Jesus.) my mom stormed out and said I know you're pissed I'd be pissed to if I had to pay this much for this kind of service.

He said to bring it down to the shop and he would look at it... I expressed my concerns about him giving me the warranty and just charging me $800 all of the sudden. He said he would do it on any hard parts but that he wouldn't do it on any electrical issues. THEN WHAT DID I PAY HIM $800 FOR LAST TIME!?!? OH YEAH NOW I REMEMBER... ALL HARD PARTS NOTHING ELECTRICAL!!!!


My Dad even tried to get an invoice for all that he would do to my car and he just stood there and looked at us... like okay? I again said that I wanted everything in writing, he just stood there... He also said that he wouldn't be able to look at the car till Monday which is understandable. At this point though it's like how do I know he's not gonna try to tear me another new ******* and say that it was something that was electrical and fix a hard part issue....

 

explain all this to bob when and if you take your car to him. maybe he will have heard other issues, or maybe he will be willing to work with you to "fix" the issue that his "competitor" caused? i dunno man. this Jason dude needs a lesson in business dealing, and needs to check him self. he has NO IDEA what he is doing IMO!

 

I hope all of this gets worked out in your favor Tyler! Cant wait for the beast to be alive again. Now that your tune is good, now your mechanical equipment has to be.
