just shift it like you do while comin out of a stop light, mine only spits it out when I rush it, I think if you let her rip thru and shift in a calm manner it'll be fine, remember it's not a muclecar so it doesn't like being forced into gear, it's a stock tuner with a longer throw, so you kinda have to get the feel for the neutral click between the gears, I know it's kinda shitty at first and it takes some getting used to, we can practice in northern the same route we went when I did my muffler delete, this weekend, if you want I'll stage u

 

12's???? man that is going to be hard to do here in alb. the elevation here is pretty high and slows down your times. are you running slicks or DR?

Yakko, yeah I am going to go up I-25N. Probably leave Cruces around 2:30 pm so can meet everyone at the track around 6:00. You can go up hwy 54 to 380, but 380 is really hilly and kinda slow. Don't know if it would be faster to come to Cruces and hit I25 or go that way?? Let me know which way you are going to go.

Does anyone know if there is an age restriction for passengers at the strip? My son is 12 and I convinced my ex-wife to let him ride with me. Have a DOT helmet for him already.

 

Rebel, Sad to say but the age limit is 16. BUT My neice who is 11 will be there and my 13 year old cousin will be there as well so he won't be all alone and sad.

Yeah, it's worth a shot. My neice is a speed freak too. Ended up racing my aunts mustang in the streets and her and my cousin were yelling and screaming at each other out the windows.

 

Haha. When my son was 10 I put him on the back of my VTX1800 that I had hot rodded. I took him out and at 120 mph he was screaming at me faster Dad faster! That kid is nuts. I'm gonna buy him a geo metro or something for his first car LOL.
