here is an exact quote from a recent customer here"
best 897 i ever spent. my stock shocks MAY have been pretty bead.. but the car rides SMOOTHER now. they stiff, but forgiving. hardest part is dialing in the ride height. i think, if you decided to drop them as far as they could go, you lay frame.... you aren't going anywhere, cause you wouldn't be able to pick it back up, but they can go LOW.

I think it does but:
Ride height drops as low as 3"
They are full 36 way adjustable
No spring compressor neccessary
Comes with front camber plates
Endlink mounts are present
Ride is smooth but stiff

Ahh theres the confusion. The d2 springs lower 2" all around. THey provide a nice ride even with their low drop

FYI, here's one with full height on the back but the front can go higher but why would you want that? And those 19" wheels. The red SS wheels are 18" I believed?

I would like to purchase the springs ASAP, 180 including s&h you stated above, you got a deal

They dont specify what model cobalt they fit for though, I am a little confused, it gives year but no model info/specs.

I get mine in later today! I am excited, wondering if anyone has bought these springs & installed them yet. After install should I wait a week or so & get an all wheel alignment. I have a buddy that lowered his sti & has the tools to do it so I am gonna have him help me do it since I have never lowered a vehicle before or helped anyone lower theirs. So new to doing this & I don't wanna mess anything up so why not ask for advice/tips.
Thanks

Is there a lot of coil bind in the rear? How long after you put them on did you take the pics? If I were to buy them I would hope it would sag a bit more because its just about 1/4 to 1/2 in to high. I thought it would be like the Ksports and be right over the front tire and even in the back. If you took those pics say a day after its gonna sag a bit. Nice to hear its a bit stiffer than stock TC springs. I am really stoked and surprised at how nice they look. Please get back to me about how much it binds and if its gonna sag at all. Great looking car btw

No problem, I will get a pic after I go to import face off in columbus, ohio which is this sunday. One that matches a previous pic, same camera angle & location to really see the difference.

I wanna say I put them on tuesday & this pic was taken bout 24hrs afterwards (wed.), so it should drop another 1/4 tp 1/2 inch. I also have only put 100-150 miles on it since then, thats why im going to get some more pics after I go to columbus this sunday. By the time I get back after that amount of time and 300+ miles on the springs they should be set at their permanent drop. Right now bout half of the lower part of the spring (rear springs I am refering to) is compressed as its parked while the top half has space between the coil pattern. I really am suprised that its not a back shattering ride. I expected it to be lots stiffer, I havent had springs on my car before but have ridden in another sstc with the eibach sportlines. The sportlines definately seemed rougher then these d2 springs. He had 5x as many miles as I do so I dunno if his shocks coulda been damaged or going bad which could cause the ride to be rougher. I only have 13,600 miles on mine so the shock & strut should be fine for a good period of time.
