Also, I wanted to offer an up-date to those who are waiting for their exhaust systems. I spoke to a couple of you today.
In a nutshell, we have everything ready to go. However, one of those things I never seem to account for when releasing a new product is the box. Basically I do not have any boxes large enough to ship a complete system in with all parts pre-welded here. I am working on it and I'm sorry for the delay. Some of you are having the system installed and welded on your end so you were not worried about multiple welds on your end. But some of you want as few welds as possible so we need to have custom boxes made. I'm sorry for the delay and any inconvenience. We want to ship the best product possible and have run into our share of snags with the release of this exhuast system.
Thanks again everyone.

Great news. All exhaust orders were shipped yesterday and today. There is only one joint which I strongly suggest having welded. Redline customers will have one additional joint.
I did include band clamps for those of you who asked.
Post your results, pictures, sound files when you are able.
Thanks again everyone.

Exactly,
2 bolt flanges are pretty much the worst possible choice there is. We have had a few cars here with one of the stainless import exhaust systems. All of them were leaking at the flanges. We replaced with our system and no issues at all.
3 bolt flanges are not too bad but sometimes it's tough to get at one or two of the nuts/bolts and they still require a gasket.
V-band flanges are best for a leak free seal but are very expensive and do require a certain amount of room around the clamp.
Ball/socket flanges are great for sealing and adjustability but require more room than the V-band flange. There just wasn't enough room to provide it at the axle connection.
So that left a slip joint which seals fine with a clamp but is perfect when welded.

Bump to the top,
I got mine today, looking for my video camera (if i still have it)
I only did a little drive with it but all i have to say is this exhaust is exactly what i wanted, nice and deep but not one that totally drowns out the cabin

Exhaust was just what I was looking for in the sound. Yes when you install weld the pipe together the clamp wouldnt hold tight. Quality pipes and great looking welds. Only other thing I would suggest is to have the hangers bent into a hook so it cant slide around in the rubber. Otherwise Great product.

Gotta go V-Band if you want it removable.
Dan, could you sub in a round canister Borla muffler instead of that magnaflow? I need a 3" exhaust badly, and really like the way you guys do stuff. I just have a personal dislike of the craptastic sound of the magnaflow muffler.

There isn't enough room for the V-band flange collar.
As far as swapping in a Borla muffler;
as long as it isn't larger than 4" in diameter and longer than 24" in length, Yes, we can. Give us a call and we can get your order in. We have stainless tubing already bent for 3" systems.
Thanks gain for your compliments.

Borla mufflers
The two I was thinking about are the 40085 and 40944. Would those work out?
