but the seats do not adjust correct? so if i wanted to see about how low i would always be sitting a good estimate would be to lower my stock seats and see if i can still see over the dash ? correct?

both the sparco and the stock seats go forward and backwards, and recline.

The sparco doesnt have an adjustment to tilt the seat squab like the stock seats or raise or lower the seat like the Redline Recaro.

But if you lower your stock seats as low as they go, then you can figure out you will go about two inches lower with the sparco set up, if not more. I never measured it in fact, it is such a noticeable difference and the customers are all happy. Very tall folks especially tall in the torso, with a sun roof car have a tough time with headroom no matter what.

some basketball players I know of that have to have a corvette, use the recliner to gain some height. Not ideal but a way out. Helps to have gorilla arms.

I am 6' tall and I feel like a little kid driving my car. I don't have John's seat brackets but I do have R100's. With my helmet on my head is roughly 6" or more from the headliner.

I was gonna say, your car has a ton of headroom in it now. Must be the different brackets.

stealths brackets are similar to ours. custom made in Illinois for Stealth a nice job indeed. round tubing instead of square, and cost a lot more. I think the headroom issue is well answered by this Sparco package with my brackets. cheers

AutoX Update ...

Well guys got to do my first AutoX with John's Brackets and my Sparco R100 seats.

After some further examination and adjustments to the seat, there is a few more inches of head room with this setup.

The sunroof does take away alot of available room but i played around with the seat and found the best possible position for myself. My head is still in the roof but i can now move my head freely.

Thanks to John for these sweet brackets and the R100 seats are da Bomb lol

Do you have some nice belts? I would love to get this setup for autox, as I get tossed around while driving in stock form.
