^^ You obviously haven't bought anything from us directly, the reason they are not upset is because they have nothing to worry about, if they really want a replacement I can send them one. That has never been the issue. Once again, if you weren't part of the GB, please keep the negativity to yourself, if anyone has a right to be pissed its the customers who waited and if they are not pissed its only because they are being taken care of.. that or they are afraid I won't poke them on facebook anymore. let me get this straight. you are calling me and northvibe ass's because I paid IN FULL 10 months ago and he paid in full when the other half of the payment was due and we both our trunks finally and there was a small 2 inch mark of damage on mine and a small little bit on his.They are NOT faulty like you are saying. they are 100% fine..... He is working things out with ED. That could be the only little damage on his trunk. I fixed the small amount on mine and it looks like it was never there in less than 3 minuts for under 4 dollars. Northvibe could do the SAME THING AS I DID and have NO problems. That is his choice to decide what he wants to do....... GTFO man. I have FULL RESPECT for Khurram. He BUSTED HIS ASS to get these out. G5 trunks were made ON ACCIDENT OVERSEAS and he got recieved them in feb and saw that they were G5 and he told and explained all of us the problem and stated that he was going to fix it and get cobalt ones made.. HE OFFERED REFUNDS for those who didnt have their balt anymore or those who didnt want to wait....and a short time after getting the g5 trunks he got everything remolded for the reverse lights, got them all made properly all packaged up shipped to the US and than inspected ALL OF THEM shipped to customers who ordered 4 months later... FOUR MONTHS. any other company honestly imo would of probally taken longer. **** happens during shipping. things break. things dont THIS ISNT ED'S FAULT CLAIMS CAN BE MADE..

im not even mad whatsoever. i was worrired yeah because i thought that the end of the blade was going to crack fully and come off but after looking its fine now.

Hell no, didn't want to wait a year. If you guys are happy then that's all that matters, right? An imperfection big or small is still an imperfection. Would you buy a new car with imperfections, New appliances, etc. That's cool that he's giving refunds, but after waiting that long wouldn't it suck? Wasn't there any Quality Control before they went out the door?

 

if it was shipped out with damage thats one thing but they were all thoroughly inspected before leaving

you guys should be happy they didnt turn out worse, i work at ups and i see what can happen to boxes with that much empty space haha.

 

and this is precisely why i never ship ups lol never had an issue with USPS or fedex every thing I get from UPS is messed up somehow

 

Well I got my trunk but its alittle messed up

 

too bad there wasnt cardboard or something covering the edges. didnt some of the g5s get messed up too?

 

Haven't got a look at mine yet, won't be home till Monday. But now I'm worried as ****.. I think I posted a while ago that it would be a miracle if these arrive undamaged...

Anyways ED. Really should use a better packing method. Maybe reinforced crate filled with popcorn with trunk on a skid binded. All the expediter guys ship like this... Fragile is irrelevant. You need to pack expecting 200lbs of small packages thrown on top to fill .cu feet.

 

Really the only safe way to send them would be by freight on a pallet. So the edges won't get damaged. As you can imagine, freight isn't cheap

 

hope mine is not like that or it's going straight back!!

 

I'm jealous of all who got one and yea ups blows I work shipping at my work and I see how they just throw **** in the truck and throw it out of the truck and they couldn't care less what it is and I work at a medical parts place and they have to be treated well. That's why we use ups once a month shipping out

 

glad mine came perfect ED had tons of bubble wrap around my trunk. my edges of the tjin actually poked small holes in the ends of the box. but all the bubble wrap taped to the trunk and around the tjin blade saved it from any damage. other then that the box wasnt crushed or anything.. had a difficult time geting all the packaging material off the trunk install took me 2 and a half hours. i had all the proper tools and had my bro help me align and get the fitment correct. but we just took our time. only got 1 shot at cutting and drilling.
