They look to be just an aftermarket spring that is shorter with an adjustable setting on one side that can be screwed to the right or left to lengthen and shorten the over all length of the "spring".

it's just a spring that has an adjustable perch on it. i've seen them on lowered hondas before. it's actually kind of a cool idea, really.
how well executed it is... tthat's a different story, but a cool idea, none the less.
