Coilovers causing shaking during acceleration.

I installed my stance coilovers last week and when i accelerate in any gear it has a horrible shake to it. Why is this? This also happened last year when i had HSD coilovers. I also have zzp stage 1 axles.

How low are you? Are they maxed out? If so it's axle bind.

This is because you have a TC. The SC hates being lowered.

OP, it's axle bind. Raise the car back up and I guarantee it goes away.

The other thing that happens is that none of these coil overs ( stance and HSD who make Stance as a private label) have a bearing on the top hat/camber plate. They use a shim of steel or plastic. doesnt work.

It needs a torrington bearing. If you get one of those, while it will have a tough time standing up to dirt and grit and will be killed in winter driving salt conditions, it will certainly help make your coil overs nicer to dodge potholes manhole covers and speed bumps.

Read the threads posted by Matty O, here, or better still go buy a set, remove your old mounts and them put the zzp mounts in; let us know if they will install without moving the engine.

if you didnt drop the front and just raised the rear all you did was compress the heck out of the front and rear motor mount inserts

not rotated. take this discussion off line perhaps. its a non issue as far as i am concerned.
