Anybody running the H&R Race Springs instead of the sport springs? I have heard they drop your car about an extra 1/2 inch lower than the sport springs. Pics and drop #'s if so. Thanks.

 

i run H&R race springs, the car is quite low. the ride is a bit harsh, but it handles great. im unable to make a good comparison though as i bought the car with the springs in it.

 

How are your struts holding up? I have heard that its best to upgrade these when you lower with sports, but its almost a must when you put the race springs on.

 

i didnt know the race springs dropped even lower than the sports... i have the sports and its one of the lowest spring drops for the cobalts

 

my struts are getting a bit weak. the previous owner lowered the car when it was almost brand new so the struts never got much use on stock springs. as i said, the ride is a bit rough and it has gotten worse in the 45k km ive owned the car. will be going to something better soon here

 

i have the hr sports(they dont make the race ones for the 09 yet) on the 09 and i like them minus the noises. i was never a fan of eibach. drop is perfect for my taste.
