So i went through the Coilover Sticky, but why are all the ones on there under 10k?

i have been in a saturn on AMR's prior and it IIRC was all around 8k, and i loved the ride... i mean yeah i am sure i wouldnt be able to tell that obvious the difference between those and a 6k set but i do know the higher the number, the stiffer the ride, and the less chance of your wheels actually moving up on a bump or something..
