I ******* HATED them on my SS/SC! VERY SOFT springs, so the ride is very bouncy!

I wouldn't.... I have SSC's on my TC and absolutely love them. If you want a great handling spring get with OTTP and pedders.

I wanted a stock ride with a dropped stance so SSC's worked for me!

They suck, you got ripped for them though. I got mine for $50 from a local and I have seen them brand new for $150. I have been rocking them for about 25k miles now and only like the drop. Handling they arent bad(relative to the LS springs) but everyday bumps and dips bounce pretty bad. There is a lot less body roll when cornering but I still wouldnt recomend them. I cant wait to swap them for some coilovers but everytime I get the money I find another badass deal that I cant refuse and stay with them.

Well brand new isnt so bad, they way you posted it sounded like they were used. But yeah, I highly recomend you save for something better. I am on the border. I have learned to live with the horrible ride but I still dont like it, on the other hand, I love the drop it gave and (it may have been cause mine were used) there was no settling, it sits the same height now as the day I put them on.

gotcha well i mean if it improves handling and the drops nice thats not bad and way u know ur cars lowered is that it rides kinda rough but not to rough to wear ur back hurts you know so u really wouldnt reccomend putting them on they suck that bad? lol

also did you get an alignment or hows that work camber correction kit

bump anyone just need answer to the couple questions

getting an alignment is a good idea... camber correction isn't neccessary for a 1.5"-2" drop!

Like I said I am still undecided about it. If you lived close I would say you could take it for a spin and you decide if it is worth it but I will put it like this:

Pros: Lower stance(very nice, I have about 3/4" tire gap on 245/45-17's), lower center of gravity, less body roll, improved cornering, improved steering feel

Cons: Not good for bumpy/crappy roads, rear tends to sag slightly when anything over 20lbs is in the trunk

I did my alignment myself(was in school for Automotive repair and maintanince), No camber correction was needed. Toe was definately off but still close to spec. It doesnt bother my back or anything and I usually take a few long drives per month(2-8 hours straight). You will mainly notice the rough ride when at low speed. If you are going to be doing the install yourself I say do it, if you dont like it you can always revert back. If you are getting it done by a shop(paying for install) dont do it, save for better springs. Honestly I would save for Pedders if I were you and I was getting it installed by a shop.
