how many actually bought...
i noticed there wasnt a strut in the back.. but what all would i need?? i want sportlines and would want to do everything at once since it would be taken apart.. shocks and struts i thought were the same?? a little confused..
basically, koni still calls them rear struts, and does indeed sell them, even though it is a shock
my only complaint is my catback and mud flaps scrape the ground a little bit over certain shaped bumps (the D looking ones, opposed to the |) ones), but that will happen with the sportlines whether you change struts or not, since the struts don't lower ride height at all. It's nothing to worry about...definitely no damage is being done...its just a sound I don't like to hear.
Awesome.. Yea theres tons of speedbumps down here in harrisburg, mostly nothing to high.. but i drive like a snail over them anyways.. Man i am glad to hear your response on them.. was it hard to install it all.. just bascially dissasemble and pu ton new??
i had a shop do the fronts..bout $120 for the install of the fronts. You have to cut apart the stock housing, and i didnt really feel comfortable doing it myself, especially since i lack the tools to do so. but the rear is a bolt in replacement, as are the springs.

In that case I'll just get the koni struts and do it all in one shot
Opinions anyone?
The stock struts WILL WEAR OUT, there is no time period for it, but eventually THEY WILL. Stock struts are simply not made for lowered applications...IMO there is no other way to do it, springs and struts at the same time or not at all.
