Has any1 done a how too for springs?..putting on h&r springs on 06 ss/na

 

GM manual, order borrow a haynes manual from any local library. Simple process.

There is a step by step how to on this forums with pics. It suggests though that you should cut your bump stops, which most people I think would tell you otherwise.

 

i have hr"s and no need to cut the bump stops

 

i have hrs aswell..also i went to this shop the other day thats telling me they do some kinda of tuner alignment or some ****..he said he had one of the 12 machines in ny that can do it..said that he can set it up so i can drive it like a ferarri (his exact words lol)..i love my ss but com on ..its a ******* cobalt..not a ferrari ..so i really cant grasp how adjusting the caster camber can effect that much ..he also quoted me at like 500 bucks ..when i could get it done at pep boys for 250..sould i trust it n go with him does any1 kno about anything like this? or sould i just do it myself only reason i really dont want to do it is bcuz its ******* freezing out lol ..oh n ive heard that theres a good chance my strutts will strip when taking them off..?

any ways $250 to install them, do that yourself and learn something and save some money, instead of paying them for labor up the ass and shop supplies.

I did mine myself for the first time never stripped my struts took almost 2.5 hours but you got to take your time get a buddy if you need extra assistance. its really not hard once you read a simple "how to" any my alignment was $80
