look at post 42, I can post more if needed, but my car sits about 1in lower in the back, and 1.5in lower in the front then the people with the sport lines.

I think the majority of people who upgrade there suspension, would definitely want something high performance, and maintain there ride quality.
as with every piece of equipment I've ever seen, you will pay a price for adjust-ability, whether it's manual or automatic. (In this case progressive)
it's simply cheaper to make a coil over that is manually adjustable, but that mean you have to stop your car, and make the necessary changes. ( sometimes requires tools, and a lot of time )
while with something like these coil overs you don't have to adjust manually.
that's why it costs $$$.
it's just how things work.
single setup = $
adjustable setup(manual) = $$
adjustable setup(auto) = $$$
Best example of this is a transmission.
now the other day I was looking at the coil overs that cobalt addition will be offering, and they look pretty good, but the thing that bothers me is the camber plates.
it may be a generic picture I'm not sure. but from the looks of that system, you'll either have to modify the strut towers so that you have the camber plates on top for easy adjust-ability, or they'll be mounted under, which means you'd have to take off the wheel in order to adjust the camber. I'd be interested in seeing the finished product, and curious as to how the setup is.
but to each his/her own,
these coil overs will maintain a quality ride & comfort, and still provide the stiffness required out of a high performance setup.
and the truth is simply this. if you want the best performance you can get for the track.
you'd go with a single setup type system. non adjustable dampening, and stiff springs. down side to that is the **** street drivability.
as soon as you go adjustable you sacrifice a little performance, but then you can adjust for comfort when needed.
then if you go with something that adjusts itself again you'll sacrifice a little more performance, but then everything is done for you and it adjusts on the fly, so as your driving conditions change, so does the coil over.
That is why your paying more for a set up like this.
you can go another step further, and get air ride suspension, and have much more that is automatically adjusted. but again in this case you sacrifice much performance. and an air ride suspension is $$$$$, better for show use and street driving then track use
