No the drop has always been the same, although there was some confusion before wen some customers thought is was 1.5" drop.

Since they thought it was a 1.5" drop thats what they saw. But really it was ALWAYS a .05" drop.

The design came from the engineer that made them from a stock pair. So the design was to make the car still be even front and back.

If the drop was 1.5" the car would not sit level..

It is your call but our design has never changed.

My car dropped way more than .5 in the back. It was about 1.5.

The tight coils go on top. I put mine in where the tight coils where on the bottom and everyone in here told me to flip them so I did.

this is stupid as ****. do you know how much a .05 drop is? thats nothing. the springs drop more than a inch for sure so saying they drop only 5% of an inch means that they only lowered 1.27 millimeters which I doubt is the case with most people that use these.

dude i know lol. i could care less that he said .05" instead of .5" lol i know that's wrong. just the fact that he said the drop never changed. cause now i know my drop will look like everyone else's!

but yeah a .05" drop would be.......like putting my backpack in the trunk.

This is how my car sits with my rims. I need to stiffen up the rear. The front is alright though.

Yeah, I didn't want to be like the rest of the people on this site running either MSR's or those Enkei's, those Enkei's are really nice though.

So how do these compare to Pedders? And why, besides lower price, would you recommend these over Pedders? Also, how is the ride quality compared to stock SS/tc fe5 suspension?

Well, because they are a bit lower than pedders they are also a bit worse in terms of ride and handling. Handling is still about what stock is though, ride is about the same too.

No I'm not a *******. Some guy put my springs in for me. So don't call me a *******. Many people have made that mistake. It doesn't even matter if the rears are upside down.

No. Didn't affect the height at all. Just made it ride a little smoother.

And peddars ride better but barely lower the car at all. They are a performance spring not a lowering spring.

06 SS/SC on SSC's (supposedly same thing as CM's). FWIW I cut the bump stops 1/4" as well

Looks nice. Cutting bump stops shouldn't affect your ride height. Just helps prevent bottoming out.

I have rubbing issues in the rear of my car with my 19's. I believe my stock struts are garbage. I will be upgrading soon.

How wide of a tire are you running? Are upgrading your struts to Koni's or going with another pair of FE5's?

You definitely shouldn't have any rubbing issues with 19's and cm's, unless you are running a ridiculous tire size lol
