Yeah you should be fine, I'm on H&R's which are lower than the CM's and I'm pretty sure I could easily get away with running 245's in the rear, I am on a 35 profile tire though

I like my MPx Catback a lot.

What is cool about my MPx is I can upgrade it with just a straight through (muffler delete) if I want more noise.

Exhaust Systems - MPx 3 Rear Section Exhaust w/ No Muffler 08-10 Cobalt SS

To me having the choice of noise or not and an easy way to add my muffler for emissions is great!

I don't know of any other exhaust that can do this. There may be some but I haven't looked.

MPx is the best for this reason for me. If I wanna be loud and show off, I add my muffler delete. If I wanna just drive everyday or get emissions, I put on the muffler. Takes very little time (unless its hot)

As for TurboXS, I don't know. I have yet to hear it, see it or anything with it. If you want to know my opinion, I'd say go with MPx and at a later date get the muffler delete for noise.

That sounds cool... I'll probably just keep the muffler on though being that I think my stock catback with a catless downpipe is noisy enough most of the time haha. I'm trying to break it down by looks and sound really since I know that both systems are high quality and pretty much the same price. I think the MPx might look a bit better. The tip on the turboxs one seems a bit small to me, but it seems like the MPx one sticks out quite far?

Sound is going to be the hard part though, since I'm told youtube clips never really resemble what they sound like in real life accurately.

Its true. The sound of my catted downpipe and muffler sounds different than the videos of it and I think that's because everyone is using a phone or something like that.

Need to get a microphone or something to get a more accurate sound profile.

Anyway my car sounds great with the muffler on! I love it and I recommend it.

When I first got it, I was off put by how far it sticks out though, but after a while I liked it for function more than looks. I have no black spots on my bumper like I see some other Cobalts on here. So that's cool.

I don't know, and if it's worth anything to ya. My second choice was ZZPs because of look. I obviously went with MPx though. I think ZZP has a nice looking exhaust. ZZP said the SS/SC and SS/TC look the same, but the turbo exhaust is quiter

H&R makes 3 different springs for the cobalt, so I'm just gonna assume they aren't the same ones I have

Unrelated question, what is the difference in cat-backs for the 05-07 SS and the 08+ SS?

I do have a 35 profile. It must be worn struts

Where the downpipe connects to the exhaust is different. SC has a 2 bolt flange and the TC has a 3 bolt flange.

Stock vs Stock though. TC is far more superior. 2.5" all the way through whereas the SC varies from 2.25"-2.5"-2.25"

Yeah something is up, what's the width and offset of your wheels? That could come into play as well
