KSport GT vs KSport Kontrol: What's the difference?
Hey,
What's the difference between the KSport GT & Kontrol Coilovers?
The GTs are more expensive so they must be better in some way...not sure how.
Only diff i see is the inverted design of the GTs...again not sure why that makes them better.
I'm new to coilovers so if someone could help me out that'd be great.

Thanks,
Justin

The inverted design places the body of the shock at the top instead of the bottom and that helps to reduce unsprung weight. Reducing unsprung weight helps makes the car a little more responsive especially in turn-in. If you install inverted coil overs with stock wheels and tires you probably won't notice any difference in how the car responds to steering input. If you combine that with some good light wheels and lighter tires you will notice that it responds to driver input faster. And reducing weight also helps acceleration but you really need to take off at least a hundred pounds or more to notice the difference in acceleration and inverted coil overs only reduce unsprung weight by a few pounds at each corner.
And unsprung weight is all of the weight of the car that is NOT supported by the coil springs. Like shocks, wheels, tires and brake rotors and calipers.

Ksport is made in china BTW...
KW Suspensions is german made, same company that R&D's for the formula cars... Dont cheap out on coil overs, a year or two from now you will regret it...

Do you guys have an adjustable camber plate for the KWs or does it come with a pillow ball mount up front?
Does height adjustment on the KWs affect the amount of shock travel?
Any waranty?

Ya I saw your post...even if they aren't actually magnesium they're ridiculously light. They quoted me at $205ea. If I get them and they aren't actually in the 9lb range I'll call bullshit and send them back. Waranty would be a good thing to ask about though given the price.

Yeah I'll be looking into them in the spring when they actually start production. Honestly anything under 15lbs for a 17" wheel would be phenominal. I just don't really want to pay 400 a wheel.
