thats so dumb.. theres a line you just shouldnt cross then it just becomes retarded.. that ride has to be the most shittiest ride ever.. and i couldnt even imagine how brutal it would be in a cobalt.. but you would need probably bags.. a super low offset wheel.. a lot of camber adjustment and roll your fender like ****** crazy.. then you will also need a couple weeks off work for physical therapy on your back.

Visit these sites if you wanna some some actual "slammed" cars.

There's a reason why my Cobalt is for sale.......

Stance or Slamming escapes me...I bought my SS/TC for its out of the box handling, when you drop that low you loose what you paid so much for. I guess slamming a base cobalt and using it a show not go car would be fine.

With Sportlines. The only prob is that there is a low acceleration shimmy/shudder now.

I have hundreds of posts on all of those forums nowdays.

The thought crossed my mind to do a low offset/stretch/slam build for the Slowbalt.......I was considering some custom black/polished 18" CCW's.....super wide, a nice stagger and some retarded low offsets with a mild stretch.......plus some Stance GR+ coilovers.....but I just can't bring myself to spend anymore money on a car I no longer love

And thus, the mad scientist RX-8 plan was put into play.

Here is a photoshop that AreTee (owner of Stance:Nation) put together for me....pretty much exactly how I want the car to look. The plan is Stance GR+ coilovers w/ removed collars + 18"x9.5" Work Emotion XC-8's +12 all around, and stretching the factory 225/40/18 tires.

And I want to pay homage to one of the original cars that made me fall so deeply in love with the stance/hellaflush scene. I remember seeing this car online about a year ago. After seeing this it was all over and I decided it was time to put the Cobalt up for sale and embark on a new journey. (yes, the Cobalt is still for sale......FML )

No, I didn't have to cut anything. What are you gonna use to lower your car?

That RX-8 is an odd car to go hellaflush on. And I would pick different wheels, they just don't fit the look of that car.

How do your axles like being that low?

I can't imagine they'll survive long...
