need opinion

need help deciding which lowering springs to get. Either the eibach pro kit or sportlines. i do have to drive the car through winter yet the sportlines are only an inch lower(and what im leaning towards) and the pro kit just seems like a waste of money. So anyones opinion would help greatly. and also how hard to install the springs? Something i can do my self or say f**K it and have the dealer do it?

thanks all for your input!!!!!

Since your are running an SS, a pro kit wont do much for you. The Only change will be aprox. 0.5 in the rear. The sportlines will drop you more, but remember they will ride like ****. Pro kit is more for performance and Sportlines are more for show.

Also you can install them yourself if you have a spring compressor and such.. I just brought mine to the local shop, and costed me around $250

woooow you paid 250 for a spring install

i didnt have a spring compressor, and i took the struts out myself and gave them to a local shop and they switched out the springs for 20 a piece....

$40 + 1 hour of labor > $250 w/ no labor
