sport is 1.5 1.4 race is 2.0 1.6. oddly enough race is only listed for 2.2 and 2.4 not TC or SC and the 2.4/2.2 sport and 2.0 tc/sc sport are listed under 2 part numbers

Take it from me, I got B&G's and it sat low but the ride was complete ****. Rubbed my back tires like crazy even on slight bumps because of how soft they were. Then I went with Ksport coilovers and I'm sitting lower all the way around and I still don't rub. I got my coilovers used for $300 plus my B&G's. Just wait for a good deal or I guarantee you'll be disappointed if you want to be even close to slammed

if you are using ss/sc shocks and struts, you should use ss/sc springs. the shocks/struts are valved for a particular spring rate. when you change that spring rate, the shock does not function as designed. if you want stiffer springs, you will need to match the correctly valved shocks and struts for that spring rate.

my b&gs would tuck on my old base model in the rear. front wasn't as low, the h&r sports are slightly lower in the front than the rear but all around better ride even though being lowered is going to feel like crap regardless.

Sorry for the threadjack, but there are you getting them for that price? All I see is $219 on ZZP

EDIT: nvm, I found them on the CM site for $182

Well ride quality isn't a huge concern.

I just don't want to rub, I may look into H&R's now.

I love my H&Rs. Just my personaly opinion but they've been great so far. The only thing I can say bad about them is that they can be a bit "floaty" feeling at times. Someone else on here could probably describe that feeling a little better than me haha

My shocks have about 50k on them so you're probably right. I really REALLy want konis but I don't have to tools to retrofit the front ones.

Not a bad plan, I'll have to look into it. I've heard Konis are definitely the way to go though.

i just put brand new B&G's on my LT w/ 205/35/17 and ive been bottoming out everywhere with just me in the car. the only reason the ride is "terrible" is because even a small bump sounds like a pistol was shot off under your tail pipe

I've got h&rs on my base cobalt, so its obviously not low like a, SS, but I find my ride quality is excellent, no issues here. I'm upgrading to 08+ FE5 struts/shocks soon though, just for the improved part

Well I've heard a lot of people say they rub on their B&G's when they hit bumps, but then others say there won't be a problem.
