just a note about installing the spacers. to make your life much easer. remove one bolt than just loosin the second bolt but dont remove it. it will keep the rack were it should be and you wont have to try to align it while installing the spacer then trying to thread the bolt. I did this on jack stands on my back. this helps to save a little headache.

There are a variety of things that could be wrong. Jack your car up, remove a wheel, and check your Endlinks for play. Generally, the endlinks only clank around when going over bumps and such though. Check your axles for play. Does it do it when you come to a stop at a light? And/Or when you accelerate from a stop light/sign?

The other thing you need to do is to jack up the entire front to do this. If you leave one front wheel on the ground, it's going to throw your alignment out of whack from left to right. The spacers will slightly change your toe. I don't recall which way off the top of my head, I'd have to look under the car.

what do you think the spacers do lol... it changes the rack location, when you lower the car you're lowering the steering rack while keeping the tie rods in relatively the same location, when you add spacers you are bringing them back in line...

so, it changes the ackerman angle back to a more stock-ish figure

heres the mustang stuff about it... and unless these spacers do something differnet than the offset bushings did for mustangs... it accomplishes the same thing

You are confusing bump steer and macpherson camber angle changes with ackerman angle. The first link you provided even mentions that it's moving the rack rearwards. We're not changing ackerman on this car by moving the rack up and down, just bump steer characteristics. We would have to move the rack or ball joints back or forward.

coming to a stop is normal...but when going over bumps theres a knocking noise thats very noticable... and when i got wot or when i shift to 2nd normally i get a vibration... and when i do u-turns i get a clunking noise when i give it gas but if i let off it goes away

I don't have an order for end links from the 19th. Get me your order number and I will check on it for you.

The rack spacers work with the stock tranmission mounts.

Only the thin ones. I just installed thicker ones 8mm, but I couldn't have done it without the stage 1 rotated mounts.

So where or how do you order the thin ones? I don't see that option on the OTTP site.
All it shows is the 4 lowering options: 0-.7, .8-1.3, 1.4-1.9, 2.0+
Is that only a problem with the SS or will I have that problem with my 2.2 with Pedders?

I'm installing my Pedders and rack spacers this upcoming Wednesday. The Pedders and Rack Spacers came as a package deal with a sale they were doing a while back...they are the .8-1.3 spacers. Are you saying I need upgraded tranny mounts to run the spacers?

I had to.... I had pedder springs with ttr spacer and it wouldn't fit with the stock mount. So i ordered ttr s.t.o.p mounts

mine are 12mm thick for the 2.0 lowering, my concern however though is that the bolts are not nearly as threaded into the the subframe as what they were before, I dont want them coming undone and then having an accident caused because of it

The 2 smallest sizes of our spacers will fit on stock mounts for sure. The 3rd size may fit and the largest size won't fit without mounts. I should go update this....

Awesome that first part is the category I fall into so that's great news!

Although, I'll probably order the tranny mount eventually anyways...just glad to hear I don't have to do it RIGHT now lol!

How thick are the different sizes? I'm told I need a 3/4" for a 2.2 on Pedders and it sounds like it will never fit and there are not rotated mounts for 2.2 to accommodated it.
