Hey I have a 07 ss/sc and i have been having idle surging issues when I have the a/c on and i have hptuners and I have heard that people have fixed the problem by tuning and I was just wondering what they would change in hptuners to stop the idle surge with the a/c on thanks.

 

the a/c draws power from the engine and therefore the RPMs go up. most cars do that

best advice is to blip the throttle just before the idle wants to almost stall out

 

Hes probably talking about when when coming to a stop, the idle drops real low and comes back up high and eventually evens out while your stopped. Ive had an 06 and an 07 and both have done it. A flash 100% fixed it with my 06. A flash from the dealer on my stage 2 07 helped it a good amount but it still does it. I don't have HPTuners so I have no clue how to tune it out with that, lol.
