I have been using John ( 09CobaltSS1 ) for the past few months. I had bricked a PCM when my cable came loose using Trifecta, So I purchased a replacement PCM from a parts yard on the internet , went to work setting up my HP Tuners and contacted John.

The first thing he noticed, my PCM came with a strange tune loaded already. 3 bars and all, but not a GMPP tune. So he sent me a stock tune to use a baseline. We ran several logs, and something just wasn't right. He stated my boost was all over the place and not responding to his commands, to which I replied "That's because your commands sucketh" to which he said "......well you sucketh! " Lol. We kept trying, and he suspected my waste gate can might be bad. It was the wrong one for my ZFR right out of the box, and when I put the right one on we were in business. He also noticed my exhaust cam sensor was sketchy, so I switched it out and we went to work.

John was careful to give me a very safe, very conservative ( and very slow ) tune to start things out and then build from there. Over the course of a month we ran 15 to 20 logs, and I was able to click off a 4.49 60 to 100 while running smoother then stock tune ever was. All turbo flutter I had before was gone too. I would send him a log and he would always contact me back right away and have a revised tune usually within an hour or so.

Finally, we started spraying meth from a progressive trunk mount kit ( No E for 60 miles ) and picked up 4/10 seconds to 4.10 on my 60 to 100. Might be a bit more on the table yet, but a deer put and end to my fun for awhile. $6000 damage. Yuck.

John has been awesome. He would always check back to see how my car was reacting, and he always had time to answer all of my relentless questions. The car runs so strong now its a night and day difference. This guy knows his stuff. Very highly recommend.
