But after putting all the math together and realing a 500hp FWD car is like being the smrtest retard, I went and bought a Sky Redline to beef up instead. Now the IRL was going back to complete stock for summer time DD duty, but threads like these are going to make me throw the mods (lowering springs included lol) back on to hush all the nay-sayers.
And I'm not sure where you got a 103mph trap speed as weak. That's good for high 12s with a 1.8 60' time on a warmer day. For example: Good old 06lackg86ss up there does a paltry 12.84 @ 114 in the 1/4. I could do that same 12.84 @ 103. So we tie each other at the end of the track. Doesn't look like his car is any quicker than mine at that point.

How the hell do you figure a 103 will get you in the 12s with a 1.8 60'? Back when I first put the blower on I went 12.87 @ 109 with a 2.0 60'. I hate to break it to you its going to take more than a 1.8 to run 12s with a 103 trap.
Also do you have any timeslips or track videos of the car? All I have seen is one lame ass video of you "racing" a 4XXhp Z06.

Didnt area try to tell you , your going to hit a brick wall with your turbo plans at about 450whp and you told him STFU you own a well known shop and you are going to build a 600 whp saturn with no engine work. and whats up with them old ass pics , if you own the car just go outside with a piece of paper with todays date and snap a pic.

What in the **** does that mean exactly? So because someone bought an Automatic means the car can't be that fast? WTF does that mean? Automatic cars are not fast?? Are you that ******* stupid?

All of you need to go back and learn how to get going from a dig then and the fundamentals of drag racing. If you know ANYTHING about drag racing then you know that 1/10th in your 60' is usually worth about 1.5-2/10ths in the 1/4 mile. And yellowGT you have just proven the point yourself. You had a horrible 60' time of 2.0 and did a 12.87 @ 109. Get your 60' down to like a 1.8 and watch your car do a 12.5 @ 109 instead. High trap speeds mean you suck at launching. I have ran 14.2s before at 108mph. But that's with a 2.4 60' time. Maybe this will help you see better: A bolt on AWD EVO with a good clutch and sticky tires can do a 12.2 @ 110 in the 1/4 with a 1.5 60', when the best you can manage out of your Mustang is a 12.87 @ 109. It's only a 1mph difference, but it's nearly 7/10ths. Because the EVO has a great launch. Your s/c'ed Mustang and that bolt on EVO probably make about the same power. The difference is the EVO got going better, plain and simple.
A 103 car will NOT net an ET in the 12s. You can improve 60' times but not that much.
A 2.0 60' is not horrible its not great but its not that bad especially on a auto car.
A 1.5 60' in a Lancer aint that easy to get it takes more than bolt ons and they still trap higher than 110.
Also those were old times and I run 10.85@128.19 with a 1.69 60'.
Please don't try to school me on racing when you have no ******* clue what you are talking about. A 103 trap speed is NOT a 12 sec car plain and simple.
