cmiller.

119 is what the dd tune traps. i don't run the 1320 anyways. roughly 1400 total feet. use all of the lane.

the people who know are not making assumptions. the people who don't are. figure out what part of this sentence applies to you.

just more **** for the people who think they know.

Let's try this.

Did you hit 12's on your 2.6 setup?

sorry; i didnt elaborate well enough as to what i was asking. figured people would get what i meant because its well known what each pulley size makes psi wise; ive personally ran 5 different sized pulleys to see which was the best for me so i figured that was just a given.

that fs thread sure didnt seem like a joke. if i can recall you wanted 30k or near it to make a downpayment on a house. seems pretty serious to me. my fav part was the **** ton of cobalts coming in and making fun of you. either youre off your rocker or a **** ton of other guys are.
*disclaimer* i didnt saying anything about your car in that thread as its your choice and decision as to what to ask for it. i am simply just stating my observations. nothing more.

are you really doing this right now? you just called out 2 of the sites most popular people. again, for you simple minded people (bc i already bolded it once after stating it before that) I said that MOST ss/sc's run a mid 13. i never said it was impossible to hit 12's in a ss/sc. only that 99% of ss/sc's will not run a 12 unless they are turbo or have nitrous.

It was a joke, and it got nearly everyone.

you can't quantify the PSI each pulley makes because you aren't taking into account exhaust combinations, or even possibly ported heads.

On a stock motor, including stock manifold, the stock TVS pulley generates ~20lbs of boost.

I'm running a 2.9 on mine and hit somewhere around 19lbs.

never went to the 1/4 mile track with the 2.6 setup on. but i highly doubt id hit a 12 on the shitty street tires i had. i dont see why youre making it personal. I know with slicks i could hit a 12.x on my 2.6 setup tho. but i dont and never would run slicks on the street so i dont like running them at the track.

on my 2.9 setup i ran consistent low 2.2's with a lot of 2.1's and a pb of 2.0x (cant remember exactly and dont have those slips anymore) on the same crappy street tires.

ok mr. "ITD BE EVEN COOLER ON STREET TIRES"

how about you go **** yourself and gtfo of this forum since you have nothing to contribute. your the guy who hangs around forums for old cars he had thinking your cool and ****. get the **** outta here with that bullshit. you keep changing your ******* little "rules" on ss/sc's running 12's. i did it, but i have nitrous. stu did it, but he has DR's, area did it but he is too well known.

most "everyone" hasn't dialed in a car to tear out of the hole yet. If I could have cut a 1.7 sixty with just my 104 trap I would have gone 12's. shoulda coulda woulda though....

These cars werent intended for the dragstrip why does everyone care what drag times you are running? I just want a car that pulls HAF out of corners. If you don't believe Area's car can run 120+ traps you are just ****** stupid. Watch the video against USMCfields near 400whp Turbo lsj that area beats. If that's not enough look at the car that is like 5 bus lengths back

street tires on the strip is a big ******* waste of time and it makes you more liable to break something. GTFO with your excuses.

this is all very obvious to me and i agree with you. but if you tell me you have full bolt ons (aka full exhaust) along with the size of the dp and exhaust and a X.X pulley i could make a damn good educated guess. ive been around for a while and have read a whole lot. just because i stay quiet doesnt mean im not knowledgeable. i know what tvs pulleys generate; i dont need a lesson.

i never posted 1 time slip of my ss/sc bc i didnt care to impress this board. i just like to race. i never posted what cars i beat on the street bc i didnt care. i knew it would go to other peoples heads then they would say they could beat a full bolt on gto in their ss/sc when they couldnt. yes, up to the top of 3rd (about 120 mph with my redline) on my 2.6 setup i beat my ROOMATES ls2 gto by about 2 cars consistently, run after run (we did this a million times). we even switched cars and he beat me in me my car by the same margin while i was driving his gto.

yeah, should coulda woulda. I DIDNT KNOW IT TAKES 6 YEARS TO DIAL IN A CAR TO TEAR OUT OF THE HOLE. lol

street tires worked well on my 360+ whp turbo scion tc with a 255 bfg kdw2 up front

so you can guess what pulley a car has even if its at 5000+ feet elevation where air density changes?

calm down buddy. again, youre only proving my point. so youve got what? 5 ss/sc's that broke 12's without a power adder. i said 99% of ss/sc's wont run a 12. theres a lot more than 500 ss/sc's.

when did i say i was the pulley god? did i experiment with 5 different sized pulleys as well as stock, 2.5 and 3 inch exhausts? yeah. am i pretty knowledgeable regarding them? yeah. I prob have more experience with different setups on a ss/sc that you do. pretty impressive for a car i owned for 18 months and knew nothing about besides it could be made fairly quick for cheap.
