The war was never about the slaves. Lincoln made it seem that way with the Emancipation Proclimation. It was about the economic and social difference between the North and South.

I ran a 13.9 @ 106mph one time. That's just retarded. Should've been closer to 13.5 with that trap.

I can only imagine what your car does with the power it's putting down.
You should be touching 12's with that trap speed. Or really close to it. Not mid 13s.

On a RWD car maybe, but I don't think in a cobalt. What are the SS/tC guys trapping that are in the 12's?

Either way, it's sad that you can't use that power more efficiently.

I went 13.2@104 with some pretty basic mods (on slicks of course). I did 13.6@100 with cooling mods/tune/slicks. Don't tell me it's not possible. With just some more suspension mods, I could have probably broke 12s just trapping 104.

I remember when you had your write up for the progress you made with minimal mods. I wish more people followed that. Their times would be much better.

That just goes to show you don't need a "man pulley" to brake into the 12's with the lsj.

yea, then I started to get greedy and started worrying more about power. Should have kept my head straight.

yup, I was greedy. Kept my retard kill tune on during the winter and when my meth line popped off the intake and I got on the throttle, burned the ringland right up in #1. **** happens. You learn from it.

Hmm, that would explain some of the kills I had from a roll that I couldn't explain. I knew 106 was high for my ET, but didn't know it was that high.

I never said anyone went 12's specifically. We are talking about trap times that would equal a 12 sec time slip.

You act like an SS/SC can't hit 12's.

Most have the trap speed to run 12's, but have zero suspension mods to back up the power.

it COULD hit 12's but it isnt. point blank. YOU are making it sound reallll easy when its not. facts are facts. there are very few ss/sc's in the 12's. idc what they trap. You cant deny that.

nitrous is another power adder. id like to see a ss/sc hit with the stock blower hit 12's with no other power adder. itd be even cooler if it did it on street tires because theres a few ss/tcs with 12's on street tires already and they have been out for 3 less years.

Ricer question of the day.

Stu hit 12's on the stock blower without nitrous or any other power adders years ago.

please enlighten me on how thats the ricer question of the day. i meant how much pressure was he running in his tires. thats ricer? Last time i checked it affected traction quite a bit. eh, maybe its just me being a ricer. oh well.

hey! i remember you! youre the guy that was arguing with me about dumping **** tons of money in a economy car that would do nothing but decrease its overall value in the long run; claiming you were going to keep it forever and never ever would sell it... did i see it up for sale a while ago? weird.

and i never said NO ONE could hit 12's in a ss/sc. I said MOST as in 99% of ss/sc's that "have the trap speed to run a 12" will run a mid 13. and im right. go look at the top list of 1/4 mile times.

i said ITD BE EVEN COOLER TO DO IT ON STREET TIRES.

you ss/sc guys talk about power band and yet ss/tc's are still raping you 1/4 mile time wise and they have been out 3 years less than ss/sc's.

just sayin'. lets stir the pot shall we?

You should have worded that better, sure sounded like you were asking about boost numbers.

And if you had any sense, you would realize that for sale thread was a joke.
