Im a bit curious, where are you guys getting high 13's low 14's for 392 challengers.... lol they are a 12.6 running car.... stock.

 

They definitely aren't. More like high 12's low 13's.

The results are showing that in good air (200-400 foot DA) the 392 Challengers are turning in times of around 12.4-12.3 with trap speeds around 113 MPH. These are auto cars, for your information.


They aren't slouches but shouldn't be terribly hard to beat from a roll.

 

Yeh thats about what is being seen around here, in the cool weather (60 and below) we have a DA in the negatives, 470hp goes pretty far and that 350 pound weight difference between most v8's disappears mighty fast. There were two regular SRT8's last year one with a blower and one with spray running 9s.

 

A guy with a black srt8 challenger 392 ran 12.7 stock at PIR ( local track ). They aren't slow, how the other guy said they are 14 sec cars , I don't know lol

I'v heard lor of such mid 12 sec passes tho i hath not seen them my self.

Most iv seen at my track pull of low 13s at between 107-110 depending on driver and DA. I manage to keep up and beat them on occasion, a zfr bolted lnf shouldn't have much trouble from a roll.

 

I ve seen a 12.3 @ 114.5 ... in person..
