You also bought your car pre-modded, we have worked on our cars........I dont have anything against GTO's and yes i realize the stock blower is limited on the LSJ, i am just sick of people talking down are cars when they have twice the horsepower then us, this is a cobalt forum, not a forum for GTO owners to come talk crap on are cars, i have beat 3 GTO's so far 1 LS2 and 2 LS1's, i think they are quick cars no doubt, but they are way to heavy. The fastest one ive seen in st.louis went 11.6@117 and it was s/c'ed, which is a damn quick time for a car that weighs as much as they do. Its not that i dont like the GTO, i just dont their owners most of the time cause you guys act like jerks on here and in real life 75% of the time.

 

this just in , my old ss/sc would pull the **** out of you too so that doesnt matter if i bought my car used with mods its not like im just gonna drive it around for the rest of the time like it is , im gonna mod the **** out of it , it just saved me probably 5K maybe 6 in mods that i can put my money towards something that i dont already have like a turbo , so like i said you can come on here talking about how fast your cobalt ss/sc is and all this **** , but you sound like a fool to the people who actually know what there talking about , and dont even make me start on why im happy to have gotten rid of my ss/sc , its a good car from point a to point b maybe get into it with some stock mustang gt's but to take to the drag strip and run it and expect good times easier said than done

**** for 40 k you could get a gto and an sts turbo and still have 4,000 left over to buy a new T.V , and you would be pushing more than WHP than 99% of the cobalts out there

I don't get it........the GTO people didn't come here necessarily looking for trouble, they came into a thread made by a cobalt owner to defend themselves.

I remember a time not too long ago when people would post a link to a civic forum, srt forum, or any other forum you can think of which had a cobalt kill and a bunch of cobalt owners would go over there to "troll" until the mods put a stop to that.

I own a cobalt and a GTO , and I am a member of many forums. I'll defend whichever car I own, call me a troll if you will, but some of the cobalt owners here make me ashamed to say I own one with the pure disrespect they show towards other car enthusiasts.
