Wow, what a bunch of complete and utter bullshit. For the sake of others on the road, I hope to hell you get caught and NEVER get your license back again. Street racing in any way shape or form is wrong and puts people in danger. But at speeds of 120+ you're not just talking about getting a little hurt or banged up, you're talking about killing yourself and/or others.

An ex-boyfriend and I were on a freeway when another assclown like the OP and 4 of his Mustang buddies went barrelling down the highway weaving in and out of traffic at speeds WELL over 100mph. After they cut around us, a car entered the freeway from a low-visibility on-ramp. The guy in the Mustang had to cut hard to avoid them, lost control, hit a jersey barrier, went through the windshield and hit head-first into a concrete support beam.

If you think a car looks like hell after a wreck like that, you don't even want to know what a human being looks like. The only good thing to come out of it was he only killed himself, no one else was injured but it could have been a LOT worse than it was

I am saying you shouldn't take sides, you shouldn't have more loyalty towards one more than the other. So you better BACK OFF or I WILL take action. I don't appreciate your side-taking and trolling! YES...TROLL!!!!!

Wow reading comprehension > YOU.

Please go back and re-read my last post. It was posted here for a reason and not there for another.

And you join this site to try and defend yourself, you even have your girlfriend join over there to try and validate your story...and wait, WAIT...I'm a troll?? That's a good one. I think you may want to re-learn the meaning of internet troll.

No trolling was done over on the goat forum, yet hmm, what happens to be going on here with you trying to defend your big bad goat?

What's next, you going to have your girlfriend join here too and tell me to stop picking on her b/f or else she's going to "e" beat me up?

Also, I URGE and PLEAD with you to take action against me......

I used to race no matter what cause i had a 12 second car and i was young and stupid. and just about beat everything i raced on the road. but i now have a 07 Cobalt SS S/C and i wouldnt even bother racing cars out of my class. Traffic racing isnt fair if someone has to stop then he already has 40 on you that **** is corny its not a fair race. I could drive like a maniac in a POS Pinto and beat a fast car its pointless. But the cobalt ss s/c has some ***** but no where near enough to mess with gtos or cars in that class.

What the hell is going on here?!?!? I don't care what any of your opinions are either way on things, but people should NOT be treating people like they have on this thread. It is totally, 100% unacceptable. Please edit your posts people.

I certainly hope you're not implying that everyone should have been nicer to the guys who put innocent lives in unnecessary danger by weaving in and out of traffic @ 120mph.

I disagree.

This guy got off EASY compared to what he SHOULD get for putting others in harm's way like this.

If you were driving down to Disneyworld with your wife and small children in the back, and some tool cuts across 3 lanes to pass you at 120mph, knowing that if there was something in the road or a tire blows, he's going to take you and your family with him into the wall, all of you dying a fiery ball of scrap metal... Let's say you could have a word with that guy. You'd say, "Hey Mister, next time, could you slow down just a little. I mean, not to be offensive, but that was just a little fast"? I doubt it.

This kind of behavior deserves MUCH worse than a message board's harsh condemnation, and he should consider himself LUCKY that the extent of the consequences is a couple people calling him an "idiot" when he easily could have killed himself and taken innocent people with him.

You have a right to your opinion. But it is not our job to enforce the law and tell people how unacceptable their actions are. If that were the case, I'd have little time for anything else. I'm not talking just about the one person who made a stupid mistake here, I'm talking about how the community is treating its members. Personally, I'm fed up with people stoping at yield signs when there is no oncoming traffic, and I feel that that situation is pretty darn dangerous, too, but nobody's doing anything about that, either.

remember that other thread where everyone (including me) was ragging on very young kids driving a car like this?

Once again I say. Your parents need to be slapped in the face for being so ******* stupid.

I rest my case.

You're right, we're not police officers, so we don't enforce the law, but we ABSOLUTELY should condemn actions such as these, and do so strongly, for the good of the enthusiast community and it's reputation as a whole. As others have said, we need to make it clear to everyone, especially impressionable people, that such behavior is not only dangerous, but it's also unanimously looked down upon by the intelligent, respectable members of the enthusiast community. Period.

If ONE person decides against repeating this kind of behavior because of the harsh response, we've done a great thing, and we would be neglecting an ethical necessity to let something like this go completely or respond ambiguously.

Such behavior should not and cannot be tolerated, and should be responded to and dealt with strongly for the good of everyone.

i know. ur right. i'm 19 yrs old. i've been driving since i was 16. i've been around cars all my life. when i see **** like what he posted, it makes me mad. because that right there in black and white, is why so many people hate young drivers. we've developed a stereo-type, which is wreck-less driving. will it change? never. thats just how kids are. i'm just glad that i learned a while back when and when not to speed/race. have i raced before, all the time. in heavy traffic, yes. was i dumb, yes. will i do it again, certainly not. when i want to race someone, we normally drive to this little strip where nobody lives. it's lit, nobody goes down there, and nobody gets hurt. and when we can't we go to the track. i really don't care if someone told me my mom was hot...i won't race them unless we go there. i'd probably just follow them and beat the **** outta them with a wrench. but honestly, and to this guy who's saying "Let Be Nicer To Him". **** that ****. What if you were driving tomorrow, and u saw the same **** happening? I would follow those little bastard and beat the **** outta them. What if u had a son. and that son, decided to go 120 mph and "accidently" hit someone. would u be nice about it? or not even worse case scenario. what if u found out ur son went 120 mph. u wouldn't be so nice. try waiting for ur son to come home one day after school, and try looking him in his face and say "Hey, buddy...we got bad news. ur friend was killed on the throughway by a camaro." ya i know, thank-you freak accident. but even still, that camaro could have just as easily hit him goin 90, then blowin a tire n hitting him. there are just certain things u cannot control going certain speeds, and kids need to realize it. no matter how fast the car, how slow, how old, how new, u cannot control everything once u start it up, and throw it in gear. u can however control ur speed. seriously. u got alot of growing up to do kid. and like everyone else is fearing, I HOPE U DON'T KILL SOMEONE. I do hope though, that u realize one day, just HOW ******* IDIOTIC GOING 120 MPH WEAVING THROUGH TRAFFIC IS. good night folks.
