Yeah, and you deleted it, and I see other lsj owners posting the same **** and nothing else just to start trouble, and it's annoying. I don't dislike the LSJ, but people with bad attitudes like yours are irritating. Also the OP just posted a race with a guy who apparently didn't know what he was talking about when it came to his car. There was no LNF> LSJ anywhere. Open your eyes and read.

you are a snappy lil thing arent you .... personally i dont give a **** about whos car is faster nor have i started any threads about lsj's > lnf's or the other way around. i think they are both nice cars, but when some one starts **** talking an lsj i will stick up for it, because i know the potential they really have.

If its so obvious that the LSJ owner didn't know what he had why did the OP play it up like he was racing the one of the best LSJs out there. Idk I think it still counts if you cryptically slip in LNF>LSJ....

But this thread is just awesome proof of who gives a ****... we all have cobalts... can't we concentrate on beating up on gay ricers instead? Thats way more fun to me.

You were not the one I was originally referring to, so yeah I have no problem with you specifically.

I did no get that from the original post at all, but maybe he felt good because he was under the impression he beat a car that was actually a worthy match I suppose.

every time a LSJ goes down to a LNF, somebodys feelings get hurt. Maybe he should have started the thread like

"I apologize in advance for pulling on a SS/SC"

saying the s/c was running 22lbs and claiming to beat it is a HIGHLY unlikely situation for 2 reasons. A) it has a clogged cat or B) it's running a TVS or turbo in which case it usually would require a little more than a bolt on tuned t/c. then again you never know

It works both ways. So obviously you have an LNF... your a little late.

There are a few LSJ's out there that will run with tuned/bolt on LSJ's, I mean I trapped 111.85mph on the stock M62 (no porting), completely stock engine (also no porting), without nitrous or weight reduction.

I think there is only one or two LNF's trapping higher then me so far, but as time goes on I expect there to be more and more of them, especially if they turbo swap.

Both platforms can be pretty quick, its just easier to get a 110 trap out of an LNF then an LSJ, thats why there are so many of these threads, since the majority of LSJ's out there will get beat by a tuned/bolt on LNF since they haven't done enough to their LSJ's to match the power.

He has a clogged cat to be at 22psi. I don't even think the 2.5 pulley will boost that high.

I've run my buddy's LNF and I made him wish he had a SS/SC. From a dig we were neck and neck. Once I grabbed in 2nd and pulled 3rd I put about 4 cars on him and shut it down. He is also known as Mr. OEM though. All he had was a drop in.

He better not be on the TVS either. If so that is just.....sad

My feelings are not hurt at all, the LNF is a great car, if i were in the market for a new car I would have an 09 sedan. The problem here is not that he beat an SS/SC it is that he thinks he beat a car that in reality if it was boosting 22psi which means one of three things which people have already stated, he was turbo/tvs, his cat was clogged. or he was full of ****. It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the race was not what should be typical of a race in that situation, it takes only a little research to figure it out. So to come on here and tell a story like that, and expect for someone to not call him out is ridiculous, what it sounds like to me is he beat an SS/SC and he wanted to brag about it and now people are upset because other people are pointing out the obvious that its not really that impressive what he did since he probably raced an idiot kid who knows nothing about his car and probably has stage 2.

****** the SS/TC and its numerous amount of morons has made this damn site even worse. I didn't think that was possible. good godddd.

i agree with you totally on everything else, but if the kid he raced had stage 2 he wouldn't have beat him by busses and busses. he would have deff. beat him since he is tuned for sure, but not by what he states. a stage 2 lsj is not that slow. we just dont know what was really done to the ss/sc in this story so no one can be sure of the real out come.

Well to clear everything up to the LSJ fanbois who obviously ********** to their MP62 every night. I for one, never said THAT IS WHAT THE GUY HAD IN HIS CAR. All I stated is that its what we discussed at the light. All I could verify is that he had an intake and 3''. (And yes it had black wheels with silver lips.)

I have tried to be nice in here, but it seems like 2 choice people can never have that in this section. What I am going to do on the 13th, is do a walk around of my friends car. Take close up pictures of his pulley. And other mods, and video tape all racing that goes on. I have beat some LSJ's they are not gods gift to the automotive industry. (Neither is the LNF for the matter.) They still are both great engines for the price point and efficiency.

We all drive Cobalt SS here. Some are fast. Some are slow. Some people like to race and talk about it. Some people like to whine and cry like a little bitch when a car of their model year gets beat by something else. I could care less. I am just tired of the bitchfest that I have been seeing from 2 LSJ people. Since the majority of the people on this forum own LSJ's, I know you don't speak for the rest of them. And all the people I have met locally drive LSJ's, and they are nice decent people.

I know there are LSJ's faster than me, I know there are LNF's faster than some LSJ's. They are all still fast. My personal preference is that I don't like SC's. I like Turbo's. Thats me. Thats why I waited till 09 to get an SS.

I don't ********** to my M62 I did to my TVS, but thats another story.

We're not trying to take away from you beating the car, in fact, I give you props for tearing it a new *******.

But; the fact of the matter is your friend is full of **** and it seemed as if you were trying to "talk down" to guys that have the lsj by stating he was making 22psi yada yada, etc. etc. All just a big misunderstanding

Good Race. Thanks for the post. Keep it up, but be careful

The dude I ran wasn't my friend, just some dude I ran into on the way home. (I guess he was talking out of his **** though.)

Now my friend on the other hand. I know what he has. And it will still be a good run. He now is pushing over 20Lbs of boost. (And still needs to hit the dyno with me this weekend.) I think our times might be closer this time.
