lol dudeee no way. This girl at my schools whose dad owns a ford dealership has 1 also. It's orange and sounds beast. I think it's got somewhere around 400 horse so i think we'd get our asses handed to us.

This is a collection of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times that have been accumulated from many different ... 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 (5 Speed) 4.7 13.2 (MT Feb 05) ...

I don't think we'd stand a chance. Unless your that one guy on this site runnin 12's.

Im sure you can beat him if your car isn't stock. i think its highly possibe as long as you have at least an intake and exhaust. its not always about power, it depends on the driver. if your a good enough driver im sure you can take him. I think we also have a greater power to weight ratio than them. When i just had an exhaust i beat an 06 mustang with an exhust by 1 car length. all you can do is try.

My cousins got a 2003 and he said they have 385 HP with the shaker hood. Its a really nice car too, especially the seats . He says that I should get the s/c Cobalt so I could at least still see a little dot in front of me. He doesn't have anything done and I would love to shut him up when I get my Cobalt with all my mods...check my sig
He'll just pretend that he wasnt really racing and say gas is expensive. I dont think he would even race me with his car that gets like .5 mpg

All Mach 1's have the shaker hood and they are rated @ 305 hp and 320 tq.

Sorry to burst your buble guys, but it is not likely that you will be able to beat him with out a decent list of mods. Say Intense Stage 3 w/ 2.6 pulley, intake, exhaust, slicks.

Even a bad driver should be looking at mid to low 14's in the Mach 1.

You should meet up at the track anyways. It should be fun.

my buddy has an 03 mach 1 also. He had a cat-back and ran a 13.6 on stock street tires. I raced him with my mods from a roll and we were even in 2nd gear, top end of 3rd i had a half car and top end of 4th I had a car and a half before shutting down around 120-130...

race him... do you really care what some guy says about his mach one..... .... if he is in school what is he doing owning a car like that anyways?

u have a chance if you are a good driver and he is not good with a stick. the mach 1 is faster, no doubt. just give it a shot. or get some nitrous without his knowledge and pray you dont blow up you engine =P

Again... Just as what was said before.. Unless you're a much better driver than them / along with a healthy list of mods and the ability to stick the SS/SC to the ground, don't do it. I have the same issue with an 03 champaign painted Mach1 here, and the guy is no where near stock.. He usually talks trash to the GT-R guys around here, but I've never seen him run.

*Edit: GT-R = Skyline guys, for those of you who forget I'm in England...

I have raced one on the highway, one of the guys down the street has one and we raced on the way home from a test and tune night. from a 40 roll I took him, never had the opportunity to run him at the track or from a dig on the street, but i was about a car ahead from the roll and we shut down at 120...but like the other guys have been saying, it's def about the mods....
