Also, what did he do to the car??
Forgot to mention, stage 2 runs around 400 whp and 450 wtq. I seriously doubt laloosh, or ANY MS3 will be able to compete with that
sounds like something wrong, especially with the CEL. Not supposed to be throwing codes. Did he mention what he was throwing?

yea... Im not sure WTH was going on with them. I can tell you a CEL is never good when running mods that arent supposed to be throwing codes ( if they were even running mods that werent.... ). I wonder if they even put bigger injectors into the car before running that power.....
You know not every CEL is a death sentence to performance...
I have a CEL on my car...and it's not stopping it from making 400 and change at the wheels
IE: you power steering sensor CEL isn't going to make your car any slower

yea, but the kits available for the CSRT4 that run that much power dont throw codes. Thats why Im wondering WTH they did to their cars if theyre not running any stage kits......
Its all we have going for us right now
stupid mopar and their lack of stage kits.....

I CANT WAIT!!! A 10 sec capable monster for a little over 2k...
Well it depends if they are modded. A good buddy of mine has one (07 MS3 - CAI, 3"Downpipe) and from a 40 roll I can put 3-4 cars on him every time, but if we go from a higher roll like 60mph and up its almost dead even, me getting a car on him from 60-125mph.
from highway rolls they are strong! I am also rockin a pretty modded 06 SS/SC as well (60's,2.8, HP tuned, meth, CAi, full exhaust) and he can stay right with me from a 60mph+ roll...lower speeds is where i can pull on him and keep my lead.
Just dont underestimate them! plus his just feels way faster than mine from the pasaanger seat anyways, lots of torque and close gearing

Here is a video of Laloosh on YouTube in his modded Mazdaspeed 3.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1MWh7Kwoes
He goes from 60-120 mph in 8 seconds in this video. By comparison, these are the times a 2009 Nissan GT-R in Car and Driver magazine pulled off on three separate occasions. It looks like his Mazdaspeed 3 can easily hang with and beat the GT-R from 60-120 mph for sure.
2/13/08 2009 Nissan GT-R
0-60 in 3.3 seconds
60-120 in 7.9 seconds
4/13/08 2009 Nissan GT-R

60-120 in 9.5 seconds
5/15/08 2009 Nissan GT-R
0-60 in 4.1 seconds
60-120 in 10.7 seconds
A Nissan GT-R is listed as having 480 BHP and 430 LB-FT of torque and it weighs 3920 pounds. A Mazdaspeed 3 weighs 3185 pounds when it is stock.

Here's a link to a site with ET's for many vehicals.
They get their info from published sources such as magazines. I don't know how accurate, just a general guide.:

that still doesnt answer my question. Considering he did a complete turbo swap, whats he at right now?
Also, hes sitting on a time bomb without internals done. Thats not efficient or reliable at all.
I raced a speed 3 the other day (we are both stock) and it was very close every time. I pulled on him the first time (20 roll), we were about the same the second time (20 roll), and he destroyed me the third go (launch) - traction is so ungodly horrible. The only thing that put me in front of him in the end was the no-lift shift in my opinion.
Just about an even race stock for stock against the new SS\TC. The MS3 is 200 lbs heavier though.
Those MS3's pull real hard above 90 mph, I'd say from 100-to 130 stock for stock, the MS3 will actually pull ahead of a SS\TC. The SS\TC also only has a top speed, as reported in Road'n'Track and Car'n'Driver of 144-145 mph (low rise spoiler) and that the high rise spoiler is 8 mph slower as it creates too much drag. I've also confirmed the SS\TC top end (145) calm day, good conditions and 74* in the morning, radar verified (5 runs) at GM's proving ground in Chandler, Arizona
The reports of the SS\TC doing 160 mph was exaggerated for marketing purposes.... In fact no stock SS cobalt of any year has gone faster in top end then the new SS\TC ..... The MS3 is drag\aerodynamically limited to 153-155.
